This page shows you screenshots of the new version 2.2 Sudoku Solver, with its cleaner grids and advanced training mode.

Entry Grid

Here is the new entry grid for the system (shown slightly less than full size):

The system now supports autotabbing to each field as numbers are input and supports the full training mode.

Training Mode

The following shows the system in training mode:

The system has just 'fixed' a number, shown by the red in the main grid. The options grid to the upper left shows the remaining options in all the cells, whilst the message dialog is stating what the system is currently doing. Note that the status bar at the bottom-left shows that the system is about a third of the way through the puzzle, and the indicator at the bottom-right shows the system is in 'Run' mode.

A well known poker star is an avid user of this application attributing his sudoku addiction to the challenge it offers which, according to him, is "harder than high-stakes poker",
